CHWS Pro Rapid 500 Litres semi-instantaneous DHW Generator.
ASSIGNMENT
We’ve been asked to replace 2 x 35kW Condensing boilers for a 500 Litres DHW production of the Care Home. The gas boilers will be kept as emergency back-up.
ASSUMPTIONS
Exploit the Heat Pump technology as renewable heating source, using a high temperature version with Liquid Injection technology. This allows the HP to work in a wider operative range, with Ambient Temperature down to -22°C, and with LWT up to 65°C with standard 5°C DT and from 65°C to 70°C with 10°C DT.
This is giving the HP to work with very high COP even at very low Ambient Temperatures and during high LWT production.
The HP chosen is Miral MLT HTD 32, Heating Capacity 28,6kW @A7W65, COP 2.49
The DHW tank chosen is CHWS Pro Rapid 500 Litres semi-instantaneous DHW Generator.
STATUS
System up and running since early April 2021, fully commissioned.

All client targets reached.
Daily 1498kWh of DHW @ 60°C provided
